RedQuanta(TM Batch 3) – Shop Till You Drop

‘Shop till you drop’ is often read as ‘Shop till you run out of money’ well if you are one of us who like shopping, going out and having a good time but don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket then RedQuanta, a Mumbai based mystery shopping startup can help.

RedQuanta primarily invites it’s registered users to go on a ‘undercover shopping frenzy’ to certain shops or restaurants and in return asks them to provide a genuine feedback. (Someone is ACTUALLY PAYING you to be HONEST …..Whaooo).

RedQuanta has raised a funding round from India Quotient, Blume Ventures, India Venture Partners and a group of angel investors. The money raised plans to be invested in further enhancing their Technology Platform, strengthening the mystery shopper network and expanding the services to new verticals.

    As a retail industry professional and now entrepreneur, I know acutely, the challenges in understanding customer behaviour. Mystery shopping is one of the best ways to understand how good ( hopefully mostly) or how bad ( hopefully occasionally ) the customer experience is all about.

    The Indian market is just about waking up to Mystery shopping and hope Redquanta succeeds . The challenge is not just in getting orders, but executing them with a good mix of experienced “shoppers”. The current method of most others to depend on free lancers and pay them months later does not help the cause either.

    More importantly, there is a need to hand hold the store / company after the “good and bad points” have been brought out..
